During the early 1920s, D. G. Dunbar joined the Pure Oil Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and began working with a geologist, Robert F. Impt. While in Tulsa, Dunbar & Impt met Frank Larkin and James H. Graham. Dunbar & Impt moved to Mexia in 1923 and then to San Angelo in 1926.

While Pure's W Texas office was in San Angelo from 1926 to 1929, Dunbar and Imbt, with backing from Larkin & Graham, joined with three other San Angelo oil men, Stanley E. Jay, Arthur E. Remington, and Morgan E Roberts, and formed a 5-member "syndicate" to invest in Minerals and Royalties until 1932.

Imbt Heirs:
Rob Lamb (rob@boxbau.com) manages the Imbt heirs’ properties through their partnership named Bob Imbt, LLC. Bob had two daughters, Mary Margaret Imbt Lamb and Nance Montae Imbt Johnson.  Mary Margaret had a son, Rob Lamb, and a daughter, Valerie Erdman. Erdman Mineral Resource, LLC.   They inherited their mother’s half of RF Imbt’s holdings, and after their aunt Nancy Montae's death in 2017, they inherited the other half from her.

Doug Stephenson, 817-212-9760, Fort Worth, grandson of Stanley E Jay, is handling that family's interests;

Arthur Remington:
James Owens, husband of Diane Remington Owens, 858-274-5088, 5045 Arroyo Lindo Ave., San Diego, CA 92117 handles the Remington family interests.

Frank Larkin:
Frank Larkin's mineral interests were inherited by statute to a distant relative of his wife, Evelyn Yohe.  This interest is in Trust fbo Evelyn Yohe at Bank of Oklahoma, Tulsa, OK. The person currently in charge of leasing on Yohe Trust is Lisa Baker (918) 588-6935, email:  Lbaker@BOKF.com
